The Journey to Wholeness - Training Module One

Join us for a Healing Place Event

Friday, September 27, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Event Information

Seminar Overview

The Journey to Wholeness Seminar is a two-part training program composed of two modules:  Pathways to Healing (Module I) and Embracing the Ministry of Formational (Module II).  Combined these two modules will prepare clergy, counselors, family life counselors, lay counselors and Christian educators to provide care and intervention to hurting individuals and families.

Both modules focus on the ministry of Formational Prayer, a healing care ministry pioneered by Dr. Terry Wardle. Formational Prayer is a ministry of the Holy Spirit, moving through a Christian caregiver, bringing the healing presence of Jesus into the place of pain and brokenness within a wounded person. Special applications of the Formational Prayer Model will be the focus of this skills development training for helping the broken. Each module includes teaching, modeling, group experience and special workshops.

Module I: Objectives

  • Define formational healing care
  • Define trauma and its impact
  • Provide tools for addressing dysfunctional behaviors
  • Develop sound techniques for emotional healing
  • Discern the Ministry of the Holy Spirit in healing
